I have just found the fix but it is a little odd.

I exited Thing and started Jinnee and that wasn't able to rename
the folder either.

I switched back to Thing but this time I did a "Mount Devices"
to get the B: icon on the desktop. After that I was able to rename
the folder.

The strange thing is that Jinnee had a B: icon and that gave an error.
