Oh, looks that this was changed then recently. I was looking at the code for 
1.19. But then the code is wrong with respect to the docs, it would indicate 
that there is a real 6888x present, when in fact it's only a memory mapped 
one. The upper half of the cookie is reserved for the real 6888x, otherwise 
you would need that bits 2 times.
