I have to agree with Mario here. I only run hsmodem from the autofolder
with no additional .xdd or autofolder drivers. The MODEMDEV variable is
set from mint.cnf.

It works as expected with mintnet(1.0.4) and connect(2.46) , no troubles
as far as I can tell.

I'm using a Falcon (ct2).
