JES ->Like Guido (I think) have already said, this is probably due to the
JES ->outdated libs init/login etc. is linked to. I tried to recompile
JES ->MiNTOS for this reason a couple of months ago, but I ran into too many
JES ->problems so I gave up pretty quick.

  Its not a really good choice we have here though. Run it as is, losing
  compatibility with the latest betas, or bypass all security and lose
  vcons... Kinda like asking which hand you want to cut off... <grin>
