I don't know what you're referring to here (maybe Linux, but I wouldn't call it "SUPER-MiNT"), but nonetheless most systems I have access to (IRIX 6.2, IRIX 6.5, IRIX64 6.5, Solaris 2.6, AIX 4.2) have more than 32 signals. Linux 2.0.x and 2.2.x have only 32 signals (one is SIGUNUSED), as in MiNT.
