Don't know if you noticed but it was a rethoric question ...
if the stuff you add is unrelated to kernel/mintlib development, because this changes the topic, under what the cvs mailingswere originally advertised (kernel/mintlib diffs).
It's new for me that you defined the original advertising rules of the cvs commit mailing list. As far as I know you are not involved at all into the mailing list setup.
