Re: [MiNT] ntpd on mint?

So, let me see if I understand this:
the client works, and it is in a compiled state;
the daemon is in the need of a polishing and a little tweaking, and there is the source available.

I am interested in the client, actually, since I happily managed to set time and timezone and daylight stuff correctly in UTC mode (yeah, I am proud of it :-) ), and I just miss the syncing thing.

So, Stan, is there the executable available somewhere?
I wish I could do that bit of tweaking you write about, but unfortunately I am just not able to do it :-(

There is some work left to be done on this...

I have tried to port that thing. Here is my last announcement email around

Subject: [MiNT] ntpd on mint?

Hi, all!
I read in a very old thread here at mintlist that there was a MiNT version
(alpha maybe) of ntpd/ntpdate.
Is this available somewhere?
is it in working order?
is it in a nexecutable form, or does it need to be compiled?

Thanks
