Grr.. what a pain.. the optimiser for m68k is broken on all GCC's greater
than 2.3.3 and the code generator is broken for gcc 2.4.x too and 2.5.x only
really supports 680x0 where x > 1, that's why I've not upgraded. Maybe now I
will have to, at least to build the library.
By the way, GCC's broken for the SPARC architecture too under these releases.
