Linux to start Thing desktop and GEM software? Congratulations for this
excellent idea.

And seriously, I am already bored hearing the same "use (rock stable) 
MagiC" or "use Linux". This is the MiNT list and the purpose of this list
is to discuss, to solve problems with MiNT and to make the system better. 
And (IMHO) its not a good place to advertise other systems, especially if
they cost cash and somebody may be interested in selling as many copies as
possible regardless of whether it is crap or not (I don't mean Linux).
