pico/pine editor behaves exactly the same in Toswin, Toswin 1.4,
TosWin2 and Miniwin. However, the insert-problem is cured by using the
stv52-terminfo. I guess that means that either...

a) The tw52/100 terminfo/termcap is defect, or...
b) The tw52/100 terminfo/termcap use a special tw-feature for
   inserting that is broken.

As I said, the pico/pine bug is present in all incarnations of
the tw-terminal.
