[MiNT] pppd error messages

I remember that I had a littl bit similar problems (long ago ;-) ).
For my problem the solution was to rename the MiNT device to ttya etc. and
use them with pppd, while the HSModem devices were renamed to the "original"
names (modem1 etc.) which areused with CoNnect
