Even if you have a "cd u:\" in your mint.cnf? I didn't realise.

If you have all of MiNTNet installed, which I presume you have, try
running 'ifconfig'. This should (I don't remember precisely) list the
attributes of all interfaces. If it doesn't, try 'ifconfig ppp0' or
whatever the interface you are using is called.

And just for the record, what modem/serial devices are available on a
*_standard_* Hades? I didn't notice a reply with respect to a Hades in the
earlier postings on the subject of 'which tty?'. Does it have modem1,
modem2, serial1, serial2? Thanks.
