Well, at least with a new standard way, people would have to read the
documentation for it. That documentation should of course say that this
is a last resort, if no other way is possible.  ;-)

Anyone who's ever looked at the TRAP-chains on a normal Atari machine
should realize that the current situation isn't a good one.
