Having mmap() is not sufficient for ELF shared libraries ...But _static_ ELF support is an important step to dynamically linked executables. Why don't you just go ahead and start with that? It will be a fair amount of work and it has to be done anyway. Once, MiNT supports static object files, and statically linked executables, there is at least a solid base for developping the dynamic stuff.
