Hi! Understood and correct. So perhaps Frank can just mark the CVS with an appropriate specially designed symbolic tag and the buildsystem will do the work without automaticaly?

Hi, I don't think that so short snapshot cycle is good for a kernel. But a version per one month, it could be very interesting. Not automatic snapshots. Frank, I think that you or Konrad can build it. The nags will be happy, the feedback will be better and you can be better motivated in the development. E.g. we don't know the date in which cvs is better fit than other days. You have this idea, Frank, we not. But no automatic snapshots (Francois, STan, it isn't aranym cvs with my requirement "in every time compilable and prefered ready to public"). I study mintcvs list and there are important modifications sometimes and that's why possible data corruptions. Best regards, Milan Jurik On Thu, 23 Sep 2004, Standa Opichal wrote:Frank! Is it something we don't have resources for or what is the problem to provide snapshots from say past 10 days of everything in the cvs (all in debug and release versions to let others be able to report problems and debug easier). I wonder why don't you support this idea. It makes much sense. We would get more feedback this way. regards STanda Francois LE COAT wrote:Hi, Frank Naumann wrote:freeMiNT ? I'm sure that XaAES is not a dead project ! I know that it was really improved since its last release. That's why I ask for a binary snapshot ! Otherwise the progress of this project is useless ... It is only available for a tiny fews !Next beta version follow for sure.Well, good to hear that ! I've noticed your promises !And nobody stop you to checkout, compile and test the cvs alpha version.Well, if I could do it myself, for sure I wouldn't have asked that ... First I don't have the adequate environment suitable to "checkout, compile and test" ... Second, I've no time to lose with this ... Do you want me to detail my own projects ?... Everybody has its job, and I'm not a freeMiNT developer ... You do freeMiNT much better that I could do it ... But, the job must be done till its end ... If your job isn't visible for everyone, except a tiny fews, it is useless ... Anyway http://xaaes.atari.org is dead ... A real waist of time !
