Re: [MiNT] Automated CVS Builds

But... keep the manual build aside because if you are about to cross-compile then it is not possible with RPM (and it takes just minutes to crosscompile the whole CVS).

Hey!

Great! Time to create the RPM spec file for that all I guess to not to have this kind of dillema any more. And it is in the TODO file I think... It should not be that hard.

Proposal: Establish a build number counter which would serve us as the extra version postfix. You can install the RPM than without any further affects to your system with this.

Hey guys,

Well good news. I made an automated build script. freemint, xaaes, and
all toos + mintlib only takes about 3 hours to build on my falcon so I
can run a job at 8am or whatever when I KNOW I'll be sleeping.

I set up my ssh keys so it auto-uploads to the server but now I'm
approaching a dillema. Do I just tar up the build directories as they
stand after building and let the user sort it out or do I script out
picking through files and assembling a proper binary distribution of
each?

Thanks,
Mark
