Erm, forgot to send to mintlist, too.

Maybe it's also a good idea to make a new release of the freemint
kernel. I know that a lot of people already regulary use the the
current-cvs version of freemint & xaaes, so it seems to be pretty
stable :-)
I welcome this as well. In fact, everytime I do reinstall (either for
testing or new install) the first thing after easymint setup is to
copying new kernel from cvs... and if I need mintlib, I do it as well.
One comment: there are some RPMs (freemint, freemint-gem,
freemint-net, freemint-sbin) -- it would be good idea to update them,
too. At least I remember I fixed one thing in slattach. And also,
maybe we should reconsider the need for all this RPMs -- their names
are very confusing, I remember I realized maybe after 3 years(!) what
are they for...
You can't use freemint kernel RPM without kernel itself and the
toswin2, fscheck etc... they are nearly independent from freemint...
but I don't know, let the other say their commentary on this.. My idea
is to have something like kernel.zip (with all kernels and drivers),
xaaes.zip (with all xaaeses, RSCs, ...) and freemint-tools.zip (with
all stuff from freemint/tools and net tools). RPMs are in my opinion
too confusing for new users (and there's plenty of them who are new to
freemint) -- it's easier for them to unzip archives and look what are
they for.
