Yes, as long as you own a Falcon with no graphics card and lots of memory ;-) Toswin works on all hardware, Conholio only on the Videl AFAIK.

That's  just  the  rendering  code, which can be changed (Peter has told me that
it's in his todo agenda). So, if that's fixed, would it be ok then?

(and btw: iirc toswin and conholio consume about the same memory on my setup)
But until it's changed it's not a candidate for replacement, just inclusion I would say. I think we all need to take control of freemint and sparemint as a community. It seems obvious to me that nobody here wants to see freemint go in a direction that steps on another's toes. I think we all want to retain ST compatibility as much as possible yet expand it and add modern features. What's really important is that someone experienced is checking up on code submitted by someone inexperienced (me).
