the idea, fvdi should rather be an xdd than a km, because I think xdd
stands for extended device driver.
Applications interface with xdd's through it's entry in the /dev
filesystem. fVDI would have to work through a trap-handler (preferably
the same as XaAES, to make it more efficient), which I don't think is
very clean for a XDD.
