That is theoretically possible.
Running FreeMiNT with memory protection enabled could provide additional
information. However I don't know if illegal memory accesses can be
detected from kernel modules.
Me neither. I have seen memory violations occur when a GEMDOS-function
is being called (installing new keymap with Ssystem results in a memory
violation) but I don't know if this would happen when a kernel module
messes with other processes' memory.
I get no error message with MP enabled on Thing 1.27 though.
