Re: [MiNT] Potential bug on mouse wheel

Peter Slegg skreiv:

Because if there was a bug in XaAES, it would most likely affect more
than one single application. You are saying that Thing 1.27 is the only
correctly working application in the Atari universe, and that all others
are working by coincidence. I don't think this is the case.

That doesn't make any sense.

I think it does.

Thing has worked with Mint from at least 1.12 up to some versions
of 1.16 so why has it now been broken ? Unless Thing is doing
something horrible to create dialogue boxes I can't see how it
would break the AES.

Thing may rely on undocumented AES features, e.g. the order messages arrive or something like that. This could have been changed in XaAES the last two years or so.

When did 1.29 become available ?

I think I got it in 1999. It's a beta with some added features. I don't think it has ever been released to the public.
