Some texts (this is especially apparent in tables) overwrite each other, making it impossible to select the correct link. Look at the forum overview at atari-forum.com, or have a look at ebay or google. In fact, of all the sites I regularly visit, only MediaWiki-based sites were correctly displayed. See screenshot for an example. > What do you mean by saying "quite a bit better than links" - Links has no > images, links is a text browser, ...., thats a big difference :) That's what I mean :-) It's a big step forwards from Links, but the rendering engine needs a lot of work. > After all I don't target the SDL-framebuffer version, If possible, I would > like to see an GEM port... The SDL-port is a good and relatively quick way of testing the browser, but a GEM port is necessary to make it really usable. Have you checked out the SDL-port of Origyn? It's based on WebKit and targeted at embedded devices. An Amiga-port already exists. IMO Origyn would be a better choice than NetSurf if the speed is acceptable, simply because it has a really big userbase. Also, it supports Javascript which I suspect is a lot of work to implement in NetSurf. Jo Even
