Wow, good find!

I just realized that I've not updated my cflib/gemlib for a little
while, and just rebuilt from current CVS and relinked the build against
them. 

So the current tarballs have the latest, so hopefully it should now
work.

I'll be tweaking the scripts to add these libraries into the build and
upload them as well.
