Maybe that is related to usehome in xaaes.cnf? I have usehome=yes.

Funny - now the atari-demo runs from ksh if symlinked to /usr but not from XaAES-launcher!

KeyEdit always runs, I don't know ;-)

However, if I start such a program from bash it's cwd is inherited from
bash. The RSC is found and loaded, but if the program is looking for a

file relative to it's own folder then it gets into trouble.

Doesn't it look for the rsc relative to it's cwd?
