These are Gentoo's GCC sources, right ? Not the standard GNU ones ? Also, haven't you said that multilib was disabled on Gentoo ? I saw it has been explicitly enabled with --enable-multilibMaybe there is something special in Gentoo which prevents multilib working as usual...
