Try WongCK's lp-client
(https://sites.google.com/site/probehouse/download/phsw-Atari-software-downloads/pherp.zip?attredirects=0). It checks AES language using appl_info and selects rsc-file accordingly. It checks for German, but no german rsc is included so you will get a nice error message when the _AKP-cookie is set to German.
