By thinking twice:

1) Memory protection in FreeMiNT for ColdFire would be a nice feature, it would be a huge effort but IMHO end users would not notice any improvement. Provided they use cleanly written software. Anyway, that may provide additional security when testing 68000 software which may have instruction issues (Pure-C...) on FireTOS.

2) The supervisor stack problem is critical. It means that clean software can't run reliably on the FireBee, either with FireTOS or EmuTOS, using plain TOS or FreeMiNT.
