I see this the same way. If somebody doesn`t care about security and
multiuser and perhabs local networking he is really better off with MagiC,
which is much faster for an Multitasking "only" System.

You are definitely not, I know of 2 companys using Mint as an Multiuser
and Network environment for their TOS-Machines and Me and a good friend of
mine are also using Mint as an multiuser-environment often even on the
same machine. For e.g. we had a meeting the last few days and we were
working together on my hades. He used a small st with ethernet-card to
connect and it went fine except of the dammed mshrink.....
