some MiNT questions

Hi!

Dlock() doesn't sync the fs on the drive if a lock is made.
It this right? Or if all Cookies are released the drive *must* be synced 
by the fs?

And why doesn't check the kernel if a name exist by mkdir()?
If you creat a file the kerne do this!
