Re: GEMDOS from VBL

Hi,

a little update of my previous message: calling Malloc(-1L) from VBL
obviously works, but returns 0 (which is probably correct for TSR after
it terminated). The trick Julian has suggested with DSetpath("U:\PROC")
and Dfree('U') behaves very strangely, though: it returns numbers from
51 to 42 megs - it countdowns from 51, 50, 49 etc to 42 and then it
starts again from 51 (note I have 52 megs of total RAM and about 40 megs
of free RAM). When I start the same code from desktop (i.e. not from
VBL) it works correctly. Any idea how to 'fix' the VBL code so it would
return correct values?

There's a new version of Clocky (2.34b, available on Monday) that
contains the VBL code, so you can test the strange behaviour yourself.

Thanks,
Petr
