Why should the AES use keyboard maps?
Don't they get the codes from the keyboard driver?
I once started to implement a keyboard driver (because I got a click but no
key reported when pressing alt-ctrl-<number != 2 or 6>). It's not ready but
works fine on my machine. Possible that I will extend it to use this keyboard
maps...
