Most users consider the LGPL to restrictive for the MiNTLib.  Furthermore
the Free Software Foundation itself considers the LGPL now a "failed
experiment" (see recent automake docs).  COPYMINT is much more liberal
than LGPL and much more aware of commercial interests.
