That sounds good. I also fear that a lot of old binaries are depending on
the Gemdos error codes, ans that means we should not change them unless we
know that the running program knows about them.

I think it should be possible to use the new codes everywhere in the kernel
and use a new->old mapping for old applications (just before the result is
returned to them).
