True most programs are adjustable but *not* all. I use alot Phoenix
(database) and Joe (html-editor). Both refuse to work with MP. Eventually
Joe will work with MP as this program is still maintained but Phoenix
shall probably never work with MP.
There are some other apps which cause problems such as Papyrus 8.20.
Papyrus itself seems to works with MP but if one import a Word 8 doc into
Papyrus the app which does the conversion (doc2rtf.prg) will crash the
whole system. Playing with the flags doesn't bring any solace.
Personaly I don't care much about Papyrus as I don't use it anymore. In
the past I only have used it to convert Word 8 docs into a for me readable
format. Nowadays I use wvconvert for this task.
All these things keeps me and others from using MP.

Indeed that HYP covers everything one need to know about MiNT. It's not
only the profis who doesn't read docs but also the laymans. it's a general
tendency to play with the apps without reading the docs first. This may
work for some apps but for something complex as MiNT this is certainly not
the way to go.

Oh, there are not only profis on this list. Take for instance myself.
Although I'm using MiNT since late 1995 I'm still not (and never will be)
a profi. By now I know a few things but surely not enough to call myself a
profi.
