The screen shot is "mint/1.17-cur/cvs-20090828" which is a CVS compile done by Alan, available from: http://www.freemint.org/ The setup was ARAnyM 0.9.9, using AFROS 8.12 with "1-17-cur" replaced with the above downloaded material, using the provided MINTARA.PRG as the new BOOTSTRAP
I can confirm that this version (Alan's build from www.freemint.org) does not redraw the desktop background correctly under Aranym 0.9.9. I got pretty much the same result as displayed in Paul's screenshot, except that I did not test MiNTsetter. A bugfixed 1.17 xaaes.km from Helmut from September that I happened to have on this PC does not suffer from this (still with Alan's kernel). So Paul - check out 1.17 from CVS, compile it and see if you still have problems. Alan - is there a changelog for your enhancement-branch somewhere?
