Well things actually sounds better than I thought they would.. so on
both MegaST and MegaSTE you can boot with mouse.adi, without scc.xdd
and ext2.xfs..

What version of Teradesk are you using now? (4.03 is latest)

The last problem you have with the keyboard is relatively easy to fix,
you will want to copy the german keyboard table from the keyboard
folder from the distro archive, place it in the same directory as
mint.cnf with the name "keyboard.tbl"

Jo Even has an app called KeyEdit if you want to change your deadkey

BTW can you read and write A: after mint has started?
