FireTOS sometimes reboots when there is severe trouble.
In my opinion there is some crash on FireBee/FireTOS when XaAES exits. Maybe there is some information in the FireTOS debug log.

There were similar problems with CTPCI, that seem to be fixed now. I guess they use similar VDI and so on.

If I would own a firebee I would write a simple program that opens and closes a physical workstation (with the desired video-mode), boot into a shell (no AES), and run this test-programm several times. When this works, XaAES should work too.

If not, the firebee should be fixed.
