Yes. It happens often with messages from east-europe and mausnet.
Sometimes, I will also receive replies to my own posts before I
have seen my post appear on the list. 
  Seems related to WHERE our providers are located in the chain;
some providers have a more direct connection to each others, but
in east-europe or in remote suburbs like mine, you might have up
to a dozen of services that bucket-brigade the message before it
reaches its destination.
Such is the nature of a Web created by a bunch of amateur opportunists...
