If you have a MiNT binary with debugging information you should 
press CTRL-ALT-F1 during the start-up.  This will display
a lot of information on your console and it would probably be
of help if you could post the last couple of lines that appear
before your system hangs.

CTRL-ALT-F1 enables the debugging mode (with appropriate versions
of MiNT).  If you press it more than once the debugging level 
will be increased and CTRL-ALT-F2 will decrease it.
