There are ISDN-"modems" and ISDN-routers.  ISDN routers usally uses PPP to
connect to the other end, and then has a ethernet adpter on the local
side. Often you find a built in DHCP server and some masquerading-stuff in
the routers. But you don't need to use the DHCP or the masq.
