And that although the 000 version doesn't work

I spent some time in investigating where the problem is. I hope it helps to
find and fix the bug...
The last debug message I get is
get_region(alt, 2000, 2)
caused by the kmalloc() in init_dos_trap(). The kmalloc() doesn't return
