Thats correct... but i won't, i'll explain below...

Did all i could to try an fix it, i rebooted several times but the problem
would not go away... eventhough it seemed to be all ok.

Well, now that the second TT runs linux aswell as mint i decided to try and
see if i could get the masquerading to work... well... i did. after some
testing i discovered that i misstyped the DNS ip... :o) 195.96.96.97 - gues
what numbers i shuffled :)

anyway, i discovered that and as i was doing some tests i ran past a telnet
test from 192.168.0.1 to 2 and it worked... all of a sudden... and that was
BEFORE i fixed the masquerading part... and i haven't changed a thing in Mint
before that time...

So frankly i am getting puzzled... i haven't been able to use the nulmodem
connection for quite some time... and all of a sudden (while doing nothing) it
starts working again...

Mario, thanks for the reply, and i have to say the ip masquerading works
a-OK :)
