[MiNT] pppd/nulmodem/ip masq problems

Hello folks, it's me again with a major **** of a problem...

situation:
Internet - TT(1) - nulmodem - TT(2)
Software: Mint on both machines, both with Mintnet 1.04.

First of all, i can't get the Ipmasquerading working.
Second, while trying to get IPmasq working i somehow wrecked
a file or setting because this is what happens:

i telnet or ftp from 2 to 1 and everything works just fine...
if i do the same from 1 to 2 somehow all of the reply's from 2
go straight into the inet connection when open... if closed it works.
