Re: [MiNT] MiNTLib for ColdFire
Various thoughts:
1. what puts me off Aranym is having to run it on a host OS. I tried it
briefly
on XP and it was a struggle just to get it working.
2. M68k assembler to Cf issues. Could existing assembler apps be de-compiled
into C (on any platform) so that they could be ported to Cf or any other
OS/hardware ? I realise de-compiling isn't great but I gather it's a lot
better than it used to be.
3. could the assembler conversion process be automated in some way to save
lots of manual work ?
4. I like the idea of a Cf machine but question whether all the obsolete
ports are needed. Is there a lot of demand for an ACSI port ? Would USB
adapters not be better ? That might work with Aranym too (more sales).
