It's probably easiest to just copy the gradient generator from XaAES, but  
the gradient generator could also be made available to applications.

Example: A special combination of OB_FLAGS could tell XaAES that ob_spec  
is a pointer to a gradient-struct, and render this particular object using  
this gradient.
