I can't check / debug it right now but I think it's bug in cflibs's
make_normalpath() (less likely, possibly mangling u:\ram\clipbrd but I
don't think so, see file_make_normalpath.c) or, and this is my best
bet, make_normalpath() returns false (path does not exist) and
Dcreate() fails while trying to create it (maybe because it's
upper-cased, maybe because Dcreate() really doesn't like u:\ram)
