No, I was trying it with the 030-Kernel.

It seems you're right. This is what I get when I try to run the 040-kernel 
with MP enabled:

	MMU is disabled
	root_descriptors: 0
	pointer_descriptors: 0
	page_descriptors: 0
	Memory needed for each MMU tree: 0 byte
	Couldn't initialize memory protection. Please run MINTNP.PRG 
	instead
	
Damned this is already the second new soft that won't run on my Hades 
(HDdriver 7.71 is the first one) :-(
